From its release back in March 2025, 99 Nights in the Forest has garnered a large playerbase- becoming one of the most popular Roblox experiences on the platform. This dangerous world of saving missing children, surviving the dark forest and running from the monstrous Deer has grown to promote more versatile gameplay- from the various additions of different biomes, the ability to decorate your base and the new Hard Mode.
These new features are added in an update launched every two weeks, following the in-game event called the Update Party. This event acts the same as an Admin Abuse for most Roblox experiences- where most game developers run an event that gives players valuable in-game rewards. In 99 Nights in the Forest, these events are usually held right before an update is launched and awards participating players with a lot of Diamonds.
When is the Next Update Party?
- Weekly Update Party: 4:30 P.M. UTC (Saturday, August 8)
- Kids Have Jobs Update: 5:00 P.M. UTC (Saturday, August 8) - 6:00 A.M. UTC (Saturday, August 15)
This week's update party resumes as normal, in celebration of the new Kids Have Jobs update this week. We can expect the same game mechanism from the Dino Kid update to be applied to all four kids in the newest update of 99 Nights in the Forest.

While the game has been pretty consistent in holding these update parties at the set time and date, there have been last-minute changes in the past. To ensure that you do not miss an update, make sure to check back here regularly for the updated time and date! Alternatively, you could also look for the details about the current and upcoming update in the game’s 'Events' tab on the Roblox player or website.

What is an Update Party?
An Update Party, held every week before an update is launched- is an event where players are teleported into the game in groups of 5/10 and awarded some free Diamonds. The rules of the game itself changes, where players are auto-respawned each day if they somehow die.

Once players are spawned in the map, they will find a lot of blueprints, party hats and balloons around the Campfire. These blueprints are festive decor to celebrate the update in general such as banners, streamers, disco balls. The update party table comes with Cakes that players can eat to fuel up while waiting for the update.
The admins will communicate with players via global message throughout these 30 minutes, talking about the upcoming updates and other news like merch restock. They will also drop a lot of scraps, fuels and tools that are admin-sized, so that players don't have to constantly look for them. Ruby Chests are also dropped occasionally for fun.
As all the tools and materials are given for free, things like achievements for Badges and gems from Chests are disabled temporarily. However, towards the end of the update party, players can expect a minimum of 20 Diamonds to either be dropped from the stormy sky or from chopping down the Diamond Tree. Just be sure to keep your Campfire fairly clean from furniture or disco balls as Diamonds could get stuck on these items and will make it hard to retrieve them.
