Western Europe Dota 2 Server Under Maintenance for Second Day

Dota 2 players are experiencing server issues in Western Europe for the second day in a row. Initially, yesterday morning saw severe lag, followed by a complete server shutdown. By evening, problems began to appear on other European servers as well.

Many users report that match searches are freezing: they cannot accept games, the Join button is inactive, and standard troubleshooting methods are ineffective. This all started after a recent micro-update. Players are having to wait 10–30 minutes to connect to a game, and even then, stable connections are not guaranteed.

Valve has acknowledged the issue and is working on a fix, but server stability has not yet been restored. Some players also note that the EEU server is experiencing similar matchmaking disruptions.

While players await a resolution, the community is actively discussing possible causes of the outages. Some speculate it is merely a technical glitch following the micro-update. Regardless of the reasons, the current situation significantly complicates game and tournament planning for many teams and regular players.
