On August 9, LGD Gaming announced suspicions of unsportsmanlike conduct by TaiLung. Following this, the player was removed from the team's roster for The International 2026, and PGL issued him a lifetime ban from participating in their tournaments.
Later, snippets of conversations appeared online, which could suggest possible involvement of the mid-laner in match-fixing. TaiLung himself did not confirm these allegations and stated that he will continue to address the situation legally.
TI15 will take place from August 13 to 23 in Shanghai, China. The tournament will feature 16 teams competing for a prize pool exceeding $2.67 million.
