Niku: "XinQ will play in Europe next season"

Chinese esports player Zhao "XinQ" Zixing may continue his career in the European region after the current season ends. This was revealed by Natus Vincere player Artem "Niku" Bachkur during a stream by Andrey "Ghostik" Kadyk on Twitch, while discussing the search for replacements in the team lineup.

According to Bachkur, at some point, Natus Vincere considered making roster changes and negotiated with potential players. However, most candidates declined or were unable to join the team.

Ultimately, as Niku noted, the list of possible replacements became limited, leading to discussions about less obvious options, including players from other regions.

At first, we weren't sure whether to remove Zayac or not. Then we decided not to change anyone. Then we started thinking about who we would replace. We discussed quite acceptable options. I won’t name names, but we reached out to them, and they replied that they didn’t want to or couldn’t for some reason. In the end, we had no options left except for daze, or some really meme-worthy options.

[Question: "Like who?"] For example, XinQ. [Question: "Does he know English?"] I don’t know. Here’s a little insider info: he will finish this season in China, and next season he will play in Europe. That’s what he wrote.

At the time of publication, XinQ is playing as a stand-in for Vici Gaming. He joined the team in March, replacing Lin "pLAnet" Hao, who previously underwent surgery.
