On his Telegram channel, mangekyou posted statistics from his profile covering the last three months and revealed the heroes he used most successfully while climbing the ranked ladder.
According to the player, the heroes that contributed the most to his recent success were Doom, Keeper of the Light, Beastmaster, and Lycan.
These are the heroes I mostly climbed with: Doom, KotL, Beast, and Lycan. In my opinion, they are currently some of the best heroes for gaining rating. I’m also going to test Visage — the hero looks interesting in the Drow Ranger meta.
The statement reflects the current high-level matchmaking trends, where aura-based offlaners and fast-paced push-oriented heroes remain highly effective. Doom and Beastmaster continue to be popular choices thanks to their strong laning presence and teamfight impact, while Lycan excels at applying constant map pressure. Keeper of the Light offers excellent wave clear and mobility, making him a valuable pick in many drafts.

Mangekyou also noted that he plans to experiment with Visage, a hero that has recently gained attention due to his effectiveness alongside popular ranged carry picks such as Drow Ranger.
The European ladder player remains among the region's top-ranked competitors and regularly shares insights into the evolving Dota 2 matchmaking meta with his followers.
