How Cy- Coach Transformed NAVI and Helped the Team Rebuild

After successful qualifications for The International 2025, the NAVI Junior roster was promoted to the main team and continued to compete under the organization's primary tag. A key change was the invitation of new coach Cy-. In a vlog on the NAVI Dota 2 channel, players shared how his work impacted their preparation, team interaction, and the overall atmosphere within the team.

Players confirmed that they were involved in the coach selection process. Cy- joined the team shortly after the qualifiers, and the roster quickly approved his candidacy.

I think he was one of the first to come to mind. We discussed it a bit — and immediately chose him.

Cy- quickly got involved in the work. He suggested revisiting the basic aspects of the game, especially in laning and team actions. Players noted that the team atmosphere improved, and the coach easily integrated into the group.

Cy- is a cool guy. You can chat and joke with him. It's very easy to work with him. We've definitely focused more on our mistakes in laning and team fights. Right now, our biggest development is in battles.

One of Cy-'s first tasks was to analyze laning. He prepared video reviews and demonstrated game strategies through examples from other teams and players.

We had problems with laning. Cy- recorded videos, we watched them together — it became much easier and more comfortable to hold the lane.

The team is confident that progress resulted from a combination of experience, changes in preparation, and personal growth of the players.

I think everything clicked — the experience, the new approach, and the fact that each player leveled up.

In December, NAVI will hold a bootcamp in Berlin before DreamLeague Season 27. Players hope that the offline format will further benefit their collaboration with the coach and team synergy.

We fought well there, but obviously, it would be better at a bootcamp. It will be a super good format — a long tournament and many games.
